What to Wear

To ensure a comfortable visit, please dress according to the weather conditions. This experience is outdoor and you will get wet from the mist of the Falls.

  • Outerwear: Check the forecast before you visit and pack accordingly, as the weather can change.

  • A waterproof phone case or bag is a good idea to protect your phone and belongings from water and mist.

  • Comfortable Shoes: Comfortable, waterproof, or quick-drying shoes are highly recommended, as your feet can get wet.

When preparing for your visit to Niagara City Cruises, it’s important to know what you can and cannot bring aboard. 

Detailed List of Prohibited Items:

  • Large Bags and Luggage: Due to safety concerns and security regulations similar to airports, large bags, luggage, coolers, and oversized backpacks are not allowed on Niagara Falls.
  • Oversized Items: Items too large to be easily carried by one person are generally prohibited. 
  • Bicycles, Skateboards, Rollerblades, etc.: These are not permitted.
  • Weapons: Any type of weapon is prohibited. 
  • Professional Photo/Video Equipment: Authorization from Niagara City Cruises Marketing Department is needed for professional equipment.
  • Outside Food and Drink are prohibited.
  • Smoking of tobacco and cannabis, as well as vaping are prohibited.
  • Drones are prohibited.

Items Allowed:

  • Small Backpacks: Small backpacks (up to 16" x 20") are generally permitted. 
  • Small to mid-size infant strollers are permitted. Prior to boarding, there is a designated unsupervised area available to park strollers at your own discretion.
  • Cameras: Photography is allowed.
