Accessibility at Niagara City Cruises
Niagara City Cruises is committed to providing crew members and guests with a safe, secure, and respectful environment to work and visit. We are committed to meeting our current and ongoing obligations under the Ontario Human Rights Code respecting non-discrimination.
Niagara City Cruises believes in integration and equal opportunity. We dedicate ourselves to creating amazing experiences for all our guests and crew and strive to meet the needs of those with disabilities. Our accessible customer service policies are consistent with the principles of independence, dignity, integration, and equality of opportunity for people with disabilities. We will do this by preventing and removing barriers to meet requirements under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act.
Statement of Commitment and Accessibility Policy
Niagara Falls is committed to accessibility, with several measures in place to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all guests. Niagara City Cruises is fully accessible, with ramps and elevators available for individuals with mobility challenges. The vessel’s interior is designed to accommodate wheelchairs and strollers, allowing everyone to enjoy the breathtaking views of the falls.
Niagara City Cruises welcomes guide dogs or service animals on our premises. The service animal is required to always accompany the guest. The guest is responsible for their service animal while on our premises.
Service animals are defined as being visibly apparent that the customer requires the animal for reasons relating to a disability. When our crew members cannot easily identify that an animal is a service animal, they may ask for documentation from a regulated health professional that confirms the guest needs the service animal for reasons relating to their disability.
Keep in mind:
All other animals and pets are not permitted on Niagara City Cruises’ property.
Keep in mind:
Personal item allowance and entry restrictions may be imposed at the checkpoint without prior notice.
Please note that although your pre-purchased ticket allows you to skip the Ticket Booth line, during peak periods (i.e., Mid-June to Labour Day, plus Holiday Weekends), peak times (i.e., 11:00 am to 6:00 pm), and other periods with high visitation, please expect line-ups to access the Lower Landing and to board the boat. As a result, we cannot guarantee that your departure time will take place within the booked cruise time slot. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
